School of Nursing, Jilin University was founded in 1939, with a student body of about 700 students. For over 80 years, more than 8000 graduates have been educated by School of Nursing. The undergraduate and graduate programs for Nursing and Rehabilitation provide the educational foundation to prepare the next generation of nursing and rehabilitation therapist leaders. All the programs are supported by well-qualified faculty, many of whom are renowned experts in their areas of specialty. The graduates and the faculty are forerunners in a new era of nursing and rehabilitation, where playing a leadership role in achieving excellent patient outcomes. The School of Nursing’s mission is to educate nursing scholars, clinicians, leaders through the generation and dissemination of new knowledge developed in innovative scholarship to foster interprofessional evidence-based practice with the goal of advancing the health of individuals, communities, and systems, both locally and globally.
